What Is Kinesiology

Kinesiology is one of the fastest growing and most interesting developments in modern Natural Health Care. It is a system that uses muscle testing as a diagnostic tool and treats the whole person using a combination of gentle, safe techniques.

Kinesiology with its remarkable range of applications, linking the physical aspects of health to the emotional and mental states is becoming a vital ingredient of health care.

Kinesiology is truly holistic and encompasses all aspects of the person.

HOW CKinesiology MindsetAN KINESIOLOGY HELP?
Illness does not arrive suddenly, although it may seem to do so. It is usually a result of stress build up. Imbalances in the body/mind system leads to a physical symptom or manifestation. Practically everyone can benefit from a Kinesiology balance, from a unborn child to a old aged pensioner and even animals can benefit.  Kinesiology  balances the body and puts it in the optimum state for healing itself by removing negative stresses.

IS  KINESIOLOGY SAFE?
Kinesiology cannot harm anyone!  The techniques are simple and gentle. Any therapy is only as good as the person facilitating it, and must be stressed that properly trained Kinesiologist do not claim to give a medical diagnosis.

Kinesiology takes the guess work out of the treatment by letting the body reveal precisely where the problem is and exactly what the body needs in order for healing to take place at source often permanently.

HOW DOES KINESIOLOGY WORK?
A kinesiology facilitator is able to detect problems in the subtle energy field by obtaining a read-out of the meridian systems through muscle testing, discovering imbalances that have an effect on the physical body which lead to disease.Kinesiology Is Safe

An example is a client who comes to a Kinesiologist complaining of tiredness and mood swings.  On testing, the Kinesiologist finds the Latissimus Dorsi muscle (a large muscle in the back) is weak.  This muscle is connected to the spleen meridian which energises the pancreas, the gland that produces insulin and controls blood sugar levels.  On questioning the client it is revealed that there is a craving for sugar.

The facilitator will use an appropriate correction to strengthen this weak muscle and restores the integrity of spleen meridian and its associated gland.  However Kinesiology is not a magic wand and it is important to distinguish between short term, which can be dealt with in a couple of sessions and chronic conditions which may require a considerably longer treatment.

Healing is a on going process that may take a few days or even months to complete.

BIOCHEMICAL, EMOTIONAL and STRUCTURAL
Biochemical factors include allergies, nutritional deficiencies, hormonal imbalances and toxicity which leads to skin conditions, headaches and dizziness to name a few. Kinesiology offers perhaps the most effective and accurate method of muscle testing for allergies and sensitivities to foods and other substances. This method of allergy testing is immediate and painless. It uses the body’s own response to test for reactions to foods, substances, airborne and tackle allergens such as moulds, metal toxicity eg. lead.

Kinesiology Peace Of MindEMOTIONAL
Emotional factors include our thoughts, beliefs, attitudes and feelings. Conscious and unconscious emotional issues include stress, anxiety,  insomnia, addictions and phobias. Emotional factors have a profound effect on all aspects of our health. Muscle testing gives an instant non-verbal body response that can reveal inner conflicts and hidden negative beliefs and attitudes wherein people find themselves sabotaging the positive changes they wish to make in their lives.

Muscle testing can elicit precise information about emotional issues: for example exactly when a problem started and where and with whom. Identifying the stress that gets locked in the body and balancing it out effectively.

STRUCTURAL
Imbalance in muscles and bones can cause poor posture, pain and discomfort. The facilitator tests the major muscles of the body to identify those that are weak, other structural tests include testing and checking the ileocecal valve. This valve is at the junction of the small and large intestines.  If this valve is not working properly it can rise to a whole range of seemingly unrelated imbalances such as – headaches, constipation, candidiasis, bloating, nausea and irritable bowel syndrome.
