On a rather fresh July morning, a group of Kinesiology newbies, enthusiasts, experts – and a couple of curious bystanders – gathered on the stoep of Fresh Ground to listen & learn about Burnout. The talk was hosted by Robyn Lotz and Liesl Myburgh who are both seasoned Kinesiologists with a wealth of experience when it comes to this topic.

Delicious green juice shots (apple, mint, lemon & ginger) and roasted tomato/hummus/onion and cream cheese, basil & cucumber bruschetta – thanks Fresh Ground!
In this enlightening discussion, we delved into the reasons we become burnt-out, the emotional and physical symptoms of this condition and how Burnout manifests in our day-to-day lives. Robyn & Liesl demonstrated how simple Kinesiology techniques and exercises can help us establish the root cause of our Burnout, as well as how we can discover what our body needs to recover.

The talk was fantastic, despite the slightly chilly weather (luckily the rain held out until the last minute!), and all of the ladies participated enthusiastically. We really loved the relaxed atmosphere at Fresh Ground (not to mention the a fantastic coffee) and had a great time learning together.
A huge thank you to Robyn & Liesl for sharing their experience with us, and a big shout out to Fresh Ground for letting us use their beautiful venue. Lastly, thank you to the wonderful women who took the time to join us for this event. We look forward to seeing you at the next one 🙂
Robyn will be hosting a FREE Workshop in August. To find out how to join, click here.
