We all know the feeling when our bodies are not too happy with what we have eaten. One can experience bloating, food sensitivity, allergies, indigestion, bowel problems and stomach pains.
Allergies are of a serious nature and can be life threatening because of the immediate reaction of our bodies.
However, food sensitivity usually creeps up on us as our bodies can’t seem to cope with what we are eating. Too much of most things is not really a good thing, especially where intolerances occur due to the general nature of where we get our food.
We consume a lot of processed products which may not be fast food but have the same effect on our bodies as those do. Foods which are un-seasonal, kept in cold storage as well as the extensive use of pesticides, fungicides and antibiotics seem to take the best away from what we are eating.
Kinesiology is a way to help the body identify these ‘sensitivities’ using muscle monitoring, it is about finding root causes and then holistically treating the person. Using the feedback from the muscle monitoring to indicate the stressor and a process of elimination, a plan is developed to treat the issue. Various techniques may be included such as acupressure, structural alignment and chakra balancing to name a few, with lifestyle changes also playing an important role in dealing with food sensitivities, bringing about a return to good health.
